IT lessons as you know them are apparently to be scrapped in September…

Universities and IT businesses have been asked to design the lessons so they are more exciting and up to date.

According to recent research, it was found that people who ate a grapefruit everyday for breakfast for two weeks reported that they had lots more energy and better concentration and even their skin improved!

Why not cut up a grapefruit and have it on your cereal or with some yoghurt to give you a boost before school?

Do you get back from school and perhaps your mum or dad aren’t back from work and you fancy a nice tasty meal? Why not do some jacket potatoes? They are filling, versatile and healthy!

Bake in an oven on 200*C for about 1 hour 15 mins or until soft when you poke with a knife.

Topping ideas-

baked beans
cheese
tuna and sweetcorn
chicken and bbq sauce
cottage cheese
coleslaw
plain and simple marg

The options are endless!

Under pressure?

Now you’re back at school or maybe even starting high school you may feel sometimes your friends try and pressure you to do things that you don’t really want to do.

It is important to be true to yourself and not do things that you think are wrong or don’t feel comfortable with.

Be strong and confident and say no! If you are worried they will laugh say at least you have the guts to say no and aren’t going to do something just because they tell you to! Would you jump off a cliff if they told you to?
